God, I miss this club

Hi all. Most of you may not remember me or have not met me in the first place. While I'm now living in Auckland, I rode with TS through the summer of 2010, and loved every second of it. It was (and I'm sure still is) well organized, friendly, welcoming and still provided opportunities for people to ...

Re: Caleb Pike April 13

Ah man, reading all these awesome race reports makes me wish I could be riding with you guys again. Not many groups down here in Auckland, and the few that do train together ride at the same time as I coach. :(

Keep up the good work folks!

Re: FS: Tripleshot Racing Tech Mesh Bibs Size Medium $50

You wouldn't need to mail them to NZ, no. My parents live in Victoria and can send them to me. Would you be able to drop them off there?? They 5min from UVic and Mt Tolmie, in behind Shelbourne Plaza. Of course, if this is all a huge PITA, I'll withdraw my name and some other lucky TSer can have them

Re: FS: Tripleshot Racing Tech Mesh Bibs Size Medium $50

If I can figure out a way to transfer the money to you from down here in NZ, I'll take them!!!
Any suggestions on how to accomplish that? Can I do a transfer from my still-active Canadian bank account?

Re: Wheels

I have the Ultegra 6700s. When I bought them, the guys at Russ Hays told me it was the best bang-for-the-buck wheel, hands down. I haven't tried many wheels, but I'm pretty happy with them thus far. One complaint. The 6700s are tubeless-compatible, which makes getting the tires on and off a real PIT...

Tues ride?

Any thoughts on tomorrow morning?? I haven't looked at the weather yet, but would be keen to ride if it's dry/not-icy.

Re: Bike to borrow over XMas?

Lister, given the fact that I've been riding on my own while down here, I think I'll build enough character just trying to keep up with the group again.

Stephane, when do you leave for holidays? I'm not back until the evening of the 22nd.

Bike to borrow over XMas?

Hi all, I'll be back from NZ from Dec 22nd to Jan 6th, and was hoping to get out with the group a few times while home. My bike will be staying in NZ, because I don't want to risk unnecessary damage while it's traveling. Also, quite frankly it's a pain in the ass to disassemble and pack into it's ca...

Thanks everyone!

Just a quick note to say thanks to all TSers for the great summer. I'm taking off to New Zealand for several months to coach high school rowing and today was my last TS ride before departure. It's been said time and again, but what a great club! I've learned a lot and had a blast doing it. The fact ...

"Getting organized"

I was thinking about this after the ride this morning. Often when I'm in a chase group, it's been said that we can't "get organized" i.e. get the team working together to chase down the lead pack. I've never really figured out how to do that. Is there typically a better way to chase down a...
