How are you guys gonna get there? Flying all the way to Sardinia? Or flying to Italy and then ferry to Sardinia?
I need to figure out how to get there because if I take the ferry from Liguria, I'll end up on the other side of Sardinia.
And I'd need a room mate too.

Re: Gear for an Italian Tripleshotter
I don't know how you sent it, but I read sometimes packets can take up to 6 weeks. So it may be not so late.
It sucks there's no tracking number though...

Re: Gear for an Italian Tripleshotter
I apologize again for my impatience. However, since two weeks passed by, I wondered if I could know when and if my gear was sent. Just to make sure I didn't miss anything...
Thanks!
Thanks!

Maybe Lister was right about carbon frames
I guess we all know Lister's views on road bikes. However I never really believed carbon frames were as fragile as he sometimes suggested. Until my new bike fell after I leaned it against a wall in quite a crowd of cyclists. It must have hit a stone or something, because I found a seat stay cracked....

Sorry for my impatience Roland!
I just got back from my vacation, so I also wanted to make sure I didn't miss any mail in the meantime.
Thanks a lot!

Gear for an Italian Tripleshotter
Hi all, does anybody know anything about my gear? After I ordered it, Roland told me that he would mail it to me to Italy. Though, I haven't heard anything about it since I left. I would also like to pay for the mailing expenses, if somebody explained me how to do it. I promised Peter I will wear th...

Re: Vinadio-Vinadio "Gran Fondo"
Even more pictures. And a map.
I took no pictures on the third mountain because I was no longer able to hold my camera.
Anyway, that was the "Colle della Maddalena", I think I posted pictures of it before.

Vinadio-Vinadio "Gran Fondo"
Vertical climb: 4690 m Distance: 160 km Very interesting way of spending your Sunday, if you happen to live near the Alps. We were 8 riders and we had a car following us to make sure everybody could get back home alive. :-) The view was amazing, we climbed the second mountain on the highest paved ro...

Re: Sardinia 2011
Hi Peter!
I'm not completely sure yet, but there's a very good chance I'm in.
Where is the hotel? I'll have to figure out how to get there from the ferry.
Would there be more expenses other than entry fee and hotel?

Is it really that long? I thought it was a week or so...Dave Spiers wrote:Next year dates are Saturday April 3rd to April 30th.
I'll have a week off from university on April, from the 21st to the 27th.
If the race is on that week, and depending on the costs, I'd really like to join you.

Riding in Italy
Hi everyone! Here it's very unusual to find more than two cyclists riding together. When you ask about cycling, anybody would tell you that climbing is the only way of riding, and it must be steep! I have found kind of cycling club, but they ride together only once a week, and it doesn't seem very w...

Thanks Josh, sprinting in your draft is quite amazing!

Re: Saturday Ride (june 26)
Good ride today!
After the group split I sat on the Hammerheads' draft for most of the ride.
Josh dragged us up a steep hill somewhere and then I insisted to climb the observatory.
Thanks for the ride everybody, I've had an awesome time with you.

Re: saturday sufferfest
I'll be there.
Not totally sure whether I'll do the B ride though. We'll see how I feel.
May I ask why tolmie repeats? The observatory was so much fun!
Did it interfere with the sprint?
