Olympic Discovery Trail Experiences?
Hey all, Wondering if anyone on the forum has any experience on riding the Olympic Discovery Trail from Port Angeles to Port Townsend? I'm thinking of riding it as a part of my upcoming holiday but just want to make sure that it is appropriate for use with a road bike. Is it safe with broad bike or ...

Re: Tripleshot Spring 2017 Kit Has Arrived
Hey Hugh, Thanks so much for doing the order. I had a problem with my order - they sent me a sleeveless jersey as opposed to the short sleeve jersey. I know, likely everyone wants to see me in a sleeveless jersey flexing my guns. Did someone order a sleeveless jersey and receive a short sleeved jers...

Re: Hip Bursitis - Trochanteric
Hey Geoff, I'd concur with Louise and that the research is suggesting that many of these are likely a gluteal tendonopathy. If that is the case, often some exercise to help improve hip motor control and manual therapy/IMS to the hip can be beneficial. I'd also agree with the idea of going to get a s...

Do we look like this?
Hey all, Just saw a link to this on social media. I'd like to think that we don't ride like this but I'm sure that we have aggravated our share of drivers. Great reminder to share the road with motorists. http://bc.ctvnews.ca/cyclists-behaving-badly-driver-says-group-ignoring-road-rules-1.3067612 St...

Craig,
Thanks for taking the time to do this. Took me all of 60 seconds to vote for you. I would encourage the rest of the club to do so in order to represent the island, club and the middle aged cyclists in the group....

Re: First of many Christmas GPS doodles...
Hey Steve, I like the Christmas theme! I recently met someone who was telling me about their experience at the Victoria TED conference and she went on about how much she enjoyed your talk, without knowing that I knew you. She went on about how interesting, creative and passionate you were about the ...

Trevor,
Great honor that I am sure is well deserved. You obviously teach in a similar manner as to how you ride!

Re: Tripleshot's Friday Backpack Ride for the Mustard Seed
Hey all, This is a great idea, count me in! I'd like to be able to make a cash donation to the mustard seed as well as my food donation by graciously adding weight to a friends backpack at a cost of $5 a pound. A chance to return the favour to some of those who have been nice enough to make me suffe...

Re: Should there be 3 'B' rides?
My two cents worth: The B1 ride was great today! Good pace at about 37kmh from ash on. Nobody got dropped and the group was good at being steady. I counted midway and the group had 19 (24 is a good cut off) at the marina. The laps at beacon were quick and efficient with a rolling pace line. The reas...

Hey Stephane,
I don't have a bike you can borrow for a few weeks but you are welcome to use my Louis Garneau for Wed night races as I usually don't ride those evenings. Let me know if you are interested.

We will take donations up until Tuesday the 10th of June and then make something up for the family. If you are still interested in helping out but haven't done so yet, please see myself or any o...

Helping out a fellow TSC rider and their family
Hi All, Andrew Lamoureux has been a member of TSC for the last couple of years and sadly has been absent from our club rides for the last two weeks. He just found out that his two year old daughter has leukemia and they are in Vancouver undergoing treatment as we speak. I can only imagine how diffic...

Great B1 ride
Great ride this morning - quick but kept everything together and for the most part, well controlled. I had us at 37.5 from Ash to Beacon Hill - looking back, a quick A ride was about 33 kmh back in 2009!
